Kyra's custom gown was easily one of our favourite gowns to design in 2026! Conceptually, the term that came up over and over again was to create something "cool" and "totally unique"  while still keeping it a mostly satin fabric. So, to make the dress standout using one fabric, we had to intentionally add intrigue through the silhouette and texture. We started off with six different designs and narrowed down to a corded gown inspired by 1700's stays with some exposed cording coming out around the hip. We spent over 20hours on the cording alone and finished by designing a matching cap veil with antique lace. The result is a truly one of a kind wedding dress that becomes more intricate the closer you look.
